  11. No sound heard when playing Rebel Assault with SB16.

  15. User will encounter the above-mentioned problem when playing the game with 
  16. SB16 using the game's default setting.  The configuration utility will set the DMA 
  17. channel at 1 (low DMA channel) while the game run in 16-bit native mode (High 
  18. DMA channel) when SB16 is selected, therefore no sound is heard.

  20. Solution/Action

  22. This problem can be solved by using the "detect" option after selecting SB16 as 
  23. your sound card.  The detect option will change the DMA channel to 5 which is 
  24. the default for SB16.  User can also change to any high DMA channel (eg. 5, 6 
  25. or 7) depending on the setting on the SB16 card.
